This series of works were created from the earth, in clay stoneware, bisqueware, raku, earthenware, resin, and tree wax. To achieve a life like quality, these works were constructed using coil, slab, molding and applique process.

In our very being, we sense an intangible state of perfection, somewhere just beyond our grasp and consciousness that is deeply rooted in our past. We try to reconfirm and reconstruct in our history what we are, for all humanity knows that a people without a knowledge of its past is like a tree without a root: it cannot nourish or grow, nor reproduce.
